Join VNLA member and owner of Vermont Wetland Plant Supply for a Tuesday Twilight tour of Vermont’s only nursery dedicated to the propagation of native wetland plants.  Come learn about the nursery production of sub-aquatics, emergent herbaceous, ferns, shrubs, and trees grown for the wetland restoration and stormwater management projects throughout the northeastern United States.  You’ll see plants for sunny wetlands and ponds, shaded woodland wetlands, and river restoration projects.  Plants for rain gardens and pollinator landscapes.  Unique spring woodland plants like gaywings and partridgeberry being grown for a site in the Adirondack State Park.  Aromatic plants like sweetflag and balsam poplar.  Striking colors of cardinal flower blue lobelia, and pickerelweed.  You will also explore the greenhouses, the shade structures, and the trench ponds that hold plants for seed production, bare rooting, and overwintering.  Come look, feel, touch, and immerse yourself in a one-of-a kind nursery located in Orwell at the southern end of Lake Champlain.
