VT Blooms Initiative Volunteer Planting Project 7/8/23

VPOC will be installing a rain garden at the CP Smith Elementary School located in the new North End of Burlington.  This project has been partially grant funded by a Lake Champlain Basin Program (LCBP) Education & Outreach Grant but they need the VNLA’s help with securing the plants, materials, and installing the project.

WHEN:   Saturday, July 8, 2023 – 8am – 2pm; rain date of July 9, 2023.

WHERE:  CP Smith Elementary School, 332 Ethan Allen Parkway, Burlington, VT  05408.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: VPOC is in need of approximately 10-15 volunteers for the installation.  Champlain College Students will also be joining on the planting day.

DONATIONS NEEDED:  Below is a list of plants and materials VPOC needs to make this project a reality.
