This isn’t just about planting flowers—it’s about creating a safe, vibrant, and welcoming sanctuary for the North Hero Library community.

Together, we will build a beautiful natural barrier that keeps children safely away from the busy road while giving the community library a gorgeous green upgrade.

To bring this vision to life, we need your helping hands and generous hearts. Whether you love getting your hands in the soil or want to support us with materials, your presence and care are what will make this project thrive.

👩‍🌾 Volunteer Your Time

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help with planting, mulching, and building. It’s a wonderful way to meet VNLA Members and share some laughs while giving back.

🌱 Donate Materials

If you happen to have extra supplies or would love to gift a specific item to the library project, we are looking to gather:

• We urgently need Arbors and Fencing sources for 3 arbors and 80’ of split rail fencing (or the raw lumber and hardware to build them)
• Perennials, pollinator-friendly plants, and/or native plants and shrub​s
• Two Amelanchiers
• Bark Mulch
• Top Soil
• Compost
