VNLA Safety Training Session
w/ VT Dept. of Motor Vehicle Officers
WHEN: April 30, 2026 – 2:00 – 4:00 pm
WHERE: Church Hill Landscapes, Inc. will be hosting this training session in their landscape yard/shop located at 823A Ferry Road, Charlotte, VT 05445.
WHAT: DMV Officer Michael Morris, along with a second officer, will lead this safety training session. Officer Morris is an investigator/inspector with the VT DMV and works in commercial vehicle enforcement. Topics that will be covered include:
- Who needs a CDL?
- Who needs a DOT number?
- Load securement standards/demo
- Medical card information
The officers will be using a Church Hill truck and trailer for demonstration purposes. They will also provide a small manual/pamphlet to attendees to use as a quick reference guide. This safety session is FREE. Please RSVP if you are able to attend: hello@vnlavt.org.
