Barry Glick

Barry Glick – Sunshine Farm & Gardens

PROGRAM:  Our keynote speaker is Barry Glick of Sunshine Farm & Gardens, Greenbrier County, West Virginia, which he founded in 1972 and has never looked back.  His plant collection now numbers more than 10,000 taxa, several of which have been introduced into the gardening world in recent years. Barry exchanges seeds and plants with people at arboretums, botanic gardens, nurseries, and private garden in virtually every country in the world.  Barry’s main plant breeding focus over the last three decades has been the genus Helleborus.  Another primary focus at Sunshine Farm & Gardens is native plants.  Barry has developed propagation protocols and growing regimens for many native species previously thought difficult to grow.   Barry’s two part presentation “Woodland Wonders from the Wilds” is sure to not disappoint!
