Magicians Without Borders Magic Show!

Tom Verner of Magicians Without Borders will bring a great deal of wonder to the Flower Show this year with his awesome magic show! These gigs allow Tom to perform his magic show in refuge camps, hospitals, orphanages all around the world bringing wonder, laughter, and surprise to those who desperately need it. Tom and Janet went to Ukraine and Poland twice this year to perform for Ukrainian refugee children and moms in the midst of this terrible and tragic war.

Tom says, “I like to think that the magic brings not only laughter and surprise, but on some deeper level perhaps, magic plants seeds of hope. Hope that the impossible is possible. Hope that after years of waiting in a refugee camps, the waiting will end and the people will go home again.”  To learn more about Magicians Without Borders please visit:  www.magicianswithoutborders.com.

No Strings Marionette Company presents Synchronized Springing

It is Spring in the forest, and the flora and fauna emerge from sheltered spots after laying low all the long winter. What has happened to the forest? Where is Mother Nature to creatively control the transition out of hibernation? With great courage, a kindly tree spirit intervenes and attempts to realign the cycle of life. Told with a delightful cast of handcrafted marionettes and interactive scenery, Synchronized Springing will help break us all out of winter’s spell.  To learn more about No Strings Marionette Company visit:  nostrings@together.net.
