THANK YOU FOR A SUCCESSFUL CAMPAIGN!!
We launched our Grow Without the Show Campaign in the Fall of 2020 to help the VNLA bridge the gap of lost revenue due to the postponement of the Vermont Flower Show. THANKS to our very generous donors listed HERE, we more than exceeded our goal of raising $20,000. We are humbled and so very grateful.
While we are ending this campaign we would happily accept any future donations that will help the VNLA continue to grow and contribute the services and programs we have to offer to our communities.
Thank you!
WHO WE ARE!
For 50 plus years our VNLA members and associates have worked toward our mission to support and strengthen our industry by promoting the benefits of plants and healthy, beautiful outdoor spaces. We work to build sustainable, productive, and healing landscapes and communities through our members’ products and services. The VNLA is a green industry organization that provides education, networking, the sharing of information, ideas, and advocacy for positive change within VT and beyond.
WHAT WE DO!
The VNLA offers programming, educational opportunities, up-to-date news and alerts, legislative outreach, a certification program, an Industry Awards program, and a quarterly newsletter to our membership – all of which is on behalf of the horticultural industry in VT and our membership and associates. In addition, we also:
- Provide public outreach through our signature event – The Vermont Flower Show – in its 20th year. Our show is unique in that our members/associates work together volunteering to produce a show that attracts over 10,000 visitors and 100 vendors. The show is packed full of family fun, educational opportunities, and a Grand Garden landscaped display like no other!
- Provide public outreach through our collaboration with Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity on landscape/design projects providing a completely installed landscape as a result of VNLA member donations of time, materials, and labor. Our goal is to continue collaboration on future community projects.
- Provide public outreach through our Vermont Blooms Initiative which improves/beautifies civic/public landscapes.
- Provide yearly research awards to educational institutions, VNLA awards, and merit scholarships to UVM and VTC students each year.
