Please join us for an evening tour of the beautiful gardens at Cady’s Falls hosted by Don and Lela Avery.  Cady’s Falls Nursery was for many years known as a source of esoteric, garden-worthy plants for serious gardeners throughout the Northeast. In 2021 the Averys terminated the business component of their lives and refocused their efforts as the Cady’s Falls Botanical Garden. They no longer sell plants but the gardens are open to the public on a full-time basis. 

​The Averys have been avidly collecting and propagating plants for over forty years and their horticultural and botanical collections include some 1,400 species and cultivars from around the world, grown in a wide range of habitats and ecological niches. Their gardens contain many unusual North American natives including arctic alpines, cacti, pitcher plants, skunk cabbages, ladyslippers, trilliums, serpentine ferns, climbing fern, dwarf conifers and many others.  

Please note the gardens were completed flooded back in early July but with the help of many volunteers the gardens have been restored.  We feel very grateful to be able to offer this tour to our members!
